Kinship Uniforms: Rohan Inspired Outfit

By special request from my beloved, I have joined her in this blog with my addition of Kinship Uniforms. A series I plan on continuing with a new uniform each week. Each uniform will be centered around a common theme of my choosing and will feature both Officer and Member uniforms, each having distinct differences. Each piece of the uniform will be listed below and the standard LOTRO Stylist rating of difficulty to obtain will be used. We hope you will enjoy this new addition to the blog and if there are any questions or comments, please feel free to let us know! And now, here is my first uniform………

I have done some research into the Rohirrim themed costumes both from the movies and books and have noted the color combinations used for both the typical rider and those of higher rankings. The material first of all seemed to be a supple leather with rich dark brown undertones and lighter tans on the surface. A drab green was also in play with the riders outfits and with the senior officers I noted a more vibrant green as well as Burgundy. Chainmail was spotted here and there under the leathers. With all of this, I have created an outfit for both the Senior Officers as well as the regular members for a Rohirrim themed Kinship.

Officer’s Uniform

Head: Razor Helm, dyed White (Dropped by Igash the Fanatic. Ceremonial version available in the store.)

Shoulders: Radiant Dwarf-make Shoulder Guards, dyed Olive (Crafted)

Chest: Hauberk of Glory, dyed Burgundy (Store)

Hands: Leather Gauntlets, dyed Umber (Purchased)

Feet: Brushed Leather Boots, dyed Umber (Store)

Back: Plain Cloak, dyed Olive (Outfitter)

Member’s Uniform

Head: Recruits Medium Hat of Eruilan (Medium Skirmish Armour)

Chest: Hauberk of Glory, dyed Umber (Store)

Hands: Leather Gauntlets, dyed Umber (Purchased)

Feet: Brushed Leather Boots, dyed Umber (Store)

Back: Plain Cloak, dyed Olive (Outfitter)
