I began this day putting together an elaborate gold and burgundy outfit for Barniby, my Hobbit Lad model. The outfit looked fine but the more I looked at it the more something seemed off. I finally decided that although he wore the clothes well the clothes did not suit a Hobbit. I scratched the outfit (I’ll save it for another one of my models) and began again working on a Hobbit appropriate outfit.
Head: Cowl, dyed Black (Purchased from Light Armour Smith in Mitchel Delving)
Chest: Well-Worn Robe, dyed Black (Skirmish Cosmetic)
Hands: Leather Gauntlets, dyed Black (Purchased from Medium Armour Smith in Bree)
Feet: Soft Leather Boots, dyed Black (Outfitter)
Back: Day Pack, dyed Black (Outfitter)
I love how even a well-worn robe looks fabulous dyed black! The pack really rounds out the ensemble.
Yes, Black is a great color to work with.
I love this outfit, except for the head piece. I replaced it with a Traveller’s Hood, dyed black and put it on my hobbit lad burglar. It’s amazing.
I’m glad you like it. I think this robe works well on a Hobbit Lad’s frame.
Dang! I love this, and love that lower levels can get it too! I’ll replace the hood with something else though, ’cause it looks kind of awkward. Other than that, perfect as usual!
Thank you, I’m really glad this outfit will work for you. 🙂
Good to see low-level outfits once in a while.
This one, imo, fits a Burg, and surprisingly well a Hobbit boy. Sneaky sneak, indeed. 🙂
That cowl..
At first, I didn’t liked it. Then I rolled a Woman Burg and… well. As it is, I love it. It’s perfect in design to hide the hair, keep it from mucking up stuff, without taking up too much space. It also protects the neck a bit, that slip of skin that’s easily bitten by cold winds.
All in all, thank you for this, and the other low-level outfits. They’re an inspiration. 🙂
I have a man burglar form Rohan, was wondering if you could make an outfit for something like that?
