Guard of the Golden Wood

Lotro Outfit

Well, as many of you know, I like to put together outfits for Kedwyr that blend into the environment he currently is operating in. As I was gathering Mallorn wood in Lothlorien for some crafting I was going to do, I realized that not only was I due for a new outfit (It’s been 3 days since my last personal outfit and I was going through withdrawals, heh), but that I had none that blended in with Lothlorien. Well, I looked through the wardrobe and happened across a set of armour that my beloved Devonna put in. I found that the color blended well for the Golden Wood and tried out several pieces of the set, then switched the legs out and decided to go with the hooded cloak look rather than a helm. Keeping a Ranger/Hunter feel but with more of an elegant Lothlorien defender look. He seems like an elite guard of the Golden Wood from my perspective. Anyways, here is a fresh outfit from the Ked.

  1. Wow, Kedwyr, you’ve done an amazing job. Your outfit blends in very well with Lothlorien’s forests and I like the little details like the leaf on your cloak’s hood 🙂 Congrats!

  2. Lovely outfit, similar in inspiration to my my guardian’s outfit, who I count as a Guardian of the Golden Wood, especially loving the leggings here 😀

  3. There may be days that you wish your elf were a man so he could be a ranger, but there are days that I wish my man were an elf so he could be awesome. Great outfit Ked, especially with the horse.

  4. beautiful outfit! i think it really suits kedwyr very much. i gotta start taking screenshots in lothlorien, the light there is so smooth it’s pleasure to view 🙂

    • The screenies were the hard part. Dev and I ran around the place trying to find an area that didn’t have a golden “haze” (maybe the creatures of the forest were chain smoking? pfft.) but yeah, some areas were great for photo shoots, but other areas just made you look like you were covered in a glowing aura. Hit and miss really, but once you find the right spot it is worth it.

  5. I’m close to tears. Well… THIS is an elf!

What also makes me come close to tears is that nearly all of the most awesome outfits contain T-Set parts. I’m not into raids, so I presumably will never get the chance to look that gorgeous. =(
