Samurai Warrior

Lotro Dwarf Outfit

Our youngest son has a fascination with all things Samurai. He has always loved anything that had to do with Japan and it’s history but he really fell in love with the Samurai after we gave him the Young Samurai books by Chris Bradford for Christmas last year.

Lotro Outfit

This outfit was his idea. When he saw this surcoat he told me that if I paired it with the Himhar, a quest reward from the epic Book 1 quests, he would look like a Samurai. I added the shoulders, gloves and boots and together we came up with an outfit fit for a Samurai Warrior.

Lotro Outfit

Head: Himhar, dyed Crimson ([40] Quest: Chapter 8,The Unmarked Trail) or there is a ceremonial version in the Lotro Store.
Shoulders: Leather Shoulder Guards of Might, dyed Crimson (Level 50 World Drop)
Chest: Scarred Surcoat of the Pren Gwydh Warrior, dyed Crimson ([67] Quest:A Brazen Chieftain)
Hands: Leather Gauntlets of the Leaping Stag, dyed Crimson ( [66] Quest:Finding an Old Fiend)
Feet: Resilient brushed skirmish boots, dyed Crimson (T7 Crafted)

  1. This is a great Samurai. Since he is a dwarf he’s probably doing sumo wrestling in his spare time too! Indeed the popularity of the RoI pieces makes them a little less original, but not any less beautiful. They are all outstanding pieces. I go for the “retro” look lately, mixing old chest pieces with the newer shoulders, gloves and boots.
