Fashion In Motion

Lotro Outfit

This was my entry in the 2012 Lotro Fashion Contest for the category “Fashion in Motion”. Outfits in this category were to be taken while on horseback. I chose to color coordinate my outfit to the Prized Rivendell Steed you can get by becoming Kindred with the Elves of Rivendell.

This was actually an outfit I had been working on way before the contest was announced. I had wanted to make an outfit to show off the Cloak of the Peace-Keeper. I think this is such a lovely cloak but because of it’s coloring and size it’s not attractive paired with most outfits.

I felt the green version Ceremonial Dress worked really well with the cloak. They both have matching green and yellow accents. Devonna, being a Hobbit, was the ideal model to show off this outfit. I think the short cloak works well with Hobbits.

  1. i adore the cloak and wanted to do an outfit around it many times – but every time i saw it’s length on a character, it put me off 😦 you managed to put together a really pretty and classy outfit for Devonna, she’s cute! 🙂

  2. Awwww this is sooo lovely! You are already a winner in every category with this outfit. It’s beautiful and I never would have thought of green to match the Rivendell Steed, but it works so well! Very very nice.

  3. This is amazing! I always wondered what the Rivendell steed looked like as a pony, and the answer seems to be: nearly as awesome as its rider. 🙂

  4. This is truly gorgeous ! Absolutely love the hat ! Gives me a little Three Musketeers feeling to it. 🙂
