Hello everyone 🙂 Did you miss me? Between lazy Summer days and a new job I haven’t spent a lot of time playing Lotro. I’m sure my activity will pick up later in the Fall. I’m really looking forward to exploring Rohan in the new expansion.
I have admired these Shoulderpads for sometime. I didn’t want to spend any medallions or seals on them until I got all my teal set. Now that I’m finished farming for my teal Ox Clan armour set I splurged and purchased them. I bought the Rune-Keeper ones but any light armour class has an identical pair. You can purchase them from the trainers at the Ox Clan Camp.
The quest that rewards this cloak, Quest: Redeem the Abominations, has two possible endings. Depending on the version you choose will determine the cloak you receive. When I did this quest Ked chose to have mercy on the abominations and received the clean neat looking version of this cloak. I chose to kill the abominations and received the bloody cloak. I don’t really like the bloody version but I’m an outfit collector and have to try and get every cosmetic item I can. This is the first outfit I’ve tried to use this cloak in and I’m glad I chose to grab this cloak version because it works perfectly with this outfit.
Head: Urdhol-Helm, dyed Black (BOE Light Armour. Drops for Isengard Instances)
Shoulders: Shoulderpads of Solitary Thunder (Purple Ox Clan Light Armour Set)
Chest: Elegant Formal Dress, dyed Crimson (Lotro Store)
Back: Thin Cloak of Destruction, dyed Black (Quest:Redeem the Abominations)
Of course I missed you! But breaks are necessary and healthy too! Congrats on completing your teal set and starting on the medallions splurge. There’s lots of nice outfit stuff to spend them on now. Fierce outfit with the bloody cloak, and shoulders, she looks furious.
PS: if you would just level up Devonna through Dunland you could pick up the Salvation version as well. Just sayin… 😉
hehe I really should level up Devonna. Perhaps that could be my project for the summer.
I’ve been contemplating getting those shoulders for a while now. Guess I’m going to have to splurge on them for myself soon. 🙂 The outfit looks great and I’m glad to see you posting again!
Yay, new outfit! Glad you’re enjoying summer and busy at your new job. 🙂
Those are great shoulders, and they look awesome with that dress and cloak. Great setting for your screenshots too, I love the Rift!
Agreed! The setting is perfect for this outfit. Beautiful and fierce.
This outfit makes me think of the witch in Snow White, especially with the pose in the first screenshot. Lovely colours and a nice setting. I need these shoulder guards for my collection too.
Ooh, it’s lovely to see a post from you! And I love that first screenshot; so ominous! You’re right; that’s a tricksy cloak, but it works really well here.
Very nice outfit. Also, grats on the new job.
So happy your back!!!
I really need to get that dress some day, it’s soo nice:)
Cant wait for more outfits! and you must spend a lot of money on dye…
It helps that I have a scholar who can make my dyes for me hehe
