To the Buckland Fair

What a lovely night to travel,
quiet except for the crunch of gravel.
East I head away from the Shire,
back again before the moon retires.

I meet a Bounder on the road,
his fine clothes were smartly sewed.
Excuse me can you point the way,
I have no desire to go astray.

In the distance I see my goal,
almost at an end my evening stroll.
My excitement makes me feel lighter than air,
soon I will be at the Buckland Fair!

What a truly wonderful event,
my feet tap under this colorful tent.
I never want the night to end,
I am so glad I chose to attend.
